FLL Challenge Competition Season Dates
Teams register to compete a Qualifier Tournament (QT) where they have scored robot rounds and a judging session. Based on their performance, they may qualify for the Regional Tournament and State Championship events in January and February. Teams pay registration fee with credit card when selecting their event OR by mailing a check to FIRST South Carolina using instructions on the registration form. The team fee is $175 and covers the cost of one qualifier tournament and the state championship registration (if team advances).
Scrimmages
Scrimmages are an excellent opportunity for teams to prepare for their qualifier tournament. Scrimmages are hosted by community groups and other teams.
Some scrimmages may have a fee that is paid directly to the event organizer (not FIRST South Carolina).
